Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern your use of the Zoo on Wheels website (the "Site") and the purchase of animals and related products (the "Products"). By accessing the Site and placing an order, you ("Customer") agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use this Site.
 #### 1. **General Information**
 1.1. These Terms represent the entire agreement between Zoo on Wheels and the Customer in relation to the Products sold through the Site.
 1.2. Zoo on Wheels reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Site.
 #### 2. **Postage and Delivery**
 2.1. All animal orders will be dispatched via Royal Mail Special Delivery (RMSD) to arrive before 1 PM at a charge of £12. This charge will be applied automatically at check-out.
 2.2. Postage charges may vary based on weather conditions to ensure the welfare of the animals. A heat pack and polystyrene box may be required for certain deliveries, with any additional charges clearly displayed at check-out.
 2.3. Orders will be dispatched Monday to Thursday and will arrive the next day. A preferred delivery date may be selected at check-out; a signature will be required upon delivery.
 2.4. Orders placed before 6 PM will be dispatched the following day (Monday to Thursday). If Zoo on Wheels cannot guarantee next-day dispatch or delivery on a preferred date due to factors such as freezing temperatures, postal strikes, or high demand, the Customer will be notified immediately via email to arrange an alternative. 
2.5. Packages will not be labeled as containing animals to facilitate discreet deliveries. 
 #### 3. **Delivery Areas**
 3.1. Zoo on Wheels currently only delivers within England, Scotland, and Wales.
 #### 4. **Live Arrival Guarantee**
 4.1. We guarantee that all animal orders shipped according to the outlined procedures will arrive alive and healthy.
 4.2. The live arrival guarantee is void if the following conditions occur:
- No one is present to receive and sign for the delivery, resulting in delays.
- An incorrect delivery address is provided by the Customer.
 4.3. Delays caused by the postal service will not affect the live arrival guarantee.
 #### 5. **Dead on Arrival (D.O.A) Policy**
 5.1. While we take great care in packaging, in the unfortunate event of a D.O.A (Dead on Arrival), the Customer is entitled to either a full refund or a replacement.
 5.2. To process a refund or replacement, the Customer must provide a clear photograph of the deceased animal. In some cases, the animal may need to be returned.
 5.3. The Customer must notify Zoo on Wheels of any D.O.A within 24 hours of receiving the delivery; failure to do so will void the guarantee.
 #### 6. **Product Specifications**
 6.1. All sizes listed on the Site are approximate. Specimen sizes may vary, and it is common for Customers to receive larger animals than indicated.
 6.2. The images displayed on product pages are representative and may not depict the exact specimen provided. Additional images may be available upon request.
 #### 7. **Pricing and Orders**
 7.1. Prices stated on the Site are for single specimens unless otherwise noted.
 7.2. Zoo on Wheels reserves the right to refuse any order at its discretion.
 7.3. Prices may be subject to change without prior notice.
 7.4. Shipping may be postponed if conditions are deemed unsafe for animal welfare (e.g., severe weather).
 #### 8. **Collection**
 8.1. The Customer may collect orders by prior appointment at our facility.
